About the author (2017)

Award-winning, multi-genre writer Brenda Mohammed did not choose writing as a career. After a successful career as a Commercial Area Credit Manager of one of the leading banks in the Caribbean, she ventured into the Insurance Industry where she also excelled. A diagnosis of cancer changed her career aspirations. She wrote her first book 'I am Cancer Free' after her bout with cancer and near death experience to tell persons in similar situations that cancer does not have to be a death sentence. 'I am Cancer Free' won the award for Best Non-fiction from Mc Grath House Book Awards in 2016. Zeeka Chronicles: Revenge of Zeeka was an award winner in the category Best Science Fiction in SIBA Awards [2017], recipient of a Readers Favorite Five-star review and five-star seal [2017], and Gold Award Winner in the category Paranormal/Science Fiction/ Fantasy in EMagazine Readers' Choice Awards 2018. To date, Brenda has written eighteen books which are published on Amazon.
